Job Description: As a full-time Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for working closely with our Attorney and Client Services Coordinator in order to facilitate the completion of Estate Plans, Probate, and Medicaid matters. A successful candidate will be trained to accomplish the following daily activities:

Ensuring quality customer service to clients, potential clients, and their families

Draft estate plans, including Trusts, Wills, Advance Care Directives, and Power of Attorney documents

Draft Probate documents
-
Monitor and analyze the calendar to ensure weekly and monthly goals are completed in a timely manner
-
Assist with signing meetings as needed
-
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
-
Communicate with all team members effectively
-
Coordinate firm presentations
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Task management skills are critical
-
Administrative/clerical/technical skills, and the ability to learn to operate necessary office equipment and software
-
Technology know-how is a plus
-
Ability to learn law firm client management system – previous CRM system experience is a plus
-
Ability to manage multiple casefiles at once
-
Demonstrate aptitude for working in sensitive environments that require a high degree of confidentiality

Skilled writer
-
Ability to shadow another and apply newly learned skills
-
Excellent communication skills
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience

Job Description: As a full-time Legal Operations Specialist/Client Services, you will be responsible for working closely with our Attorney and Legal Assistant in order to facilitate the completion of Estate Plans, Probate, and Medicaid matters. A successful candidate will be trained to accomplish the following daily activities:

Maintain important spreadsheets in office database (i.e. master file, monthly dashboard, 6 month review etc.)

Enter and maintain client information into database
-
Set-up matter billing
-
Prepare monthly billing; print and send invoices to clients

Enter general ledger entries quarterly
-
Prepare and file UCC forms in multiple states
-
Prepare various documents for filing, i.e. quit claim deeds, affidavits of heirship

Prepare estate planning notebooks prior to client signings
-
Preliminary and follow-up calls to Prospects and Clients
-
Call and schedule client appointments
-
Check and return voicemails and e-mails
-
Attend training events and other events as needed
